Private accommodation in Isortoq

All houses in East Greenland are relatively small. Construction material: wood. The toilet is located inside the house. With a few exceptions all houses are without running water, which is brought to the house in big buckets. Don’t expect a lot of luxury. The houses are basically furnished, but very clean, and you’re expected to take of your shoes when entering. In the settlements the streets have no names, so the house number is the address. If you for some reason can’t find the house - just say the name of the owner or the house number to the first person you meet, and he/she will guide you.
As only a few persons in the settlement speaks English and we recommend you to download our phrase book here.
