Fishing Tours

Fishing tour in East Greenland is an experience that promises much more than just the thrill of the catch. As you step onto the boat, the crisp Arctic air signals the start of your adventure. You’ll voyage away from the towns or settlements, venturing into the heart of the cold sea under the guidance of an experienced boat captain. Your guide, privy to the secrets of these waters, will navigate to his or her personal favourite fishing spots, home to abundant marine life. East Greenland’s icy waters teem with a variety of fish, cod, halibut, redfish, capellin, trout, catfish and shorthorn sculpin.

It’s not just about catching the fish; it’s about connecting with nature and immersing yourself in the traditional lifestyle of the Inuit. Whether you choose to savor your freshly caught fish in a home-cooked meal or prefer a traditional shore-side feast where the fish is boiled over stone, the experience will undoubtedly be a highlight of your trip. While you’re out on the boat, let the fresh breeze soothe your senses, take in the breathtaking nature, and marvel at the glaciers – this is more than a fishing tour; it’s a journey into the very soul of East Greenland.
