Apart from food, those shops also sell houshold items, clothing, eletrconics and furniture. The big multi-purpose Pilersuisoq additionally accommodates a bank, Grønlandsbanken. Both Pilersuisoq supermarkets also feature ATMs for the convenience of locals and visitors.

An Array of Recreational Facilities

The town hosts a range of facilities including souvenir shops, a community hall, post office and a tank station. The town is also home to several kindergardens, a school, a hospital, and a service house with shower and laundry facilities. The local youth can enjoy the free-time club and the cultural house IGDLO. A fast food grill, also serving coffee and ice-cream, with a big sunny terrasse and a bar.
